Indoor S'Mores Cookies

This cannot be classified as a recipe but rather an idea.  This is how we make S'mores without a campfire.  This is the perfect ratio of graham cracker to marshmallow to chocolate.  Soft yet crunchy, sweet and gooey and oh so delicious!

You can whip these up after dinner as an easy dessert for the family or for guests.  I stayed traditional on the ingredients, but you can certainly jazz it up with any type of chocolate you have on hand.  If you want to make it extra special, you can make homemade graham crackers and homemade marshmallows!

Indoor S'Mores Cookies
Makes 4 cookies

2 graham crackers
4 large marshmallows
1 {1.55oz} Chocolate Bar

Turn the broiler on your oven onto high.  Cut the candy bar into quarters, set aside.

Break graham crackers in half.  Set each of the graham cracker pieces on a cookie sheet.  Top the graham crackers with a marshmallow.

Place under the broiler and watch carefully.  {They can go from under broiled to burnt in seconds}  Once the marshmallows are browned to what you like, remove the cookie sheet.

While the marshmallows are still hot, gently but firmly press a piece of the chocolate bar onto the marshmallow, flattening it slightly.  Continue with remaining marshmallows.

Eat while warm and gooey!

What a clever idea! I love that you don't have to have a fire going to have s'mores. Good tip on the broiler - seems like things can burn under the broiler in just a few seconds!
